On February 11, with the presence of the delegate of the CSIC in Andalusia and the Minister of Education of the Andalusian Government, “Nobel Women” in its full format was inaugurated at the Science House (Casa de la Ciencia) in Seville, an emblematic building that at the beginning of the XX century, on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of Seville, was the headquarters of the House of Peru.
In the very large first hall, the Science Sections (Physics, Chemistry and Physiology or Medicine) could be visited, with panels, showcases, pictures and a magnificent reconstruction of Marie Curie's laboratory.
The Peace and Literature Sections also had exhibition spaces in a second hall, in which a special space was dedicated to silhouettes of the winners and to the Santander writer Concha Espina (nine times nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature), as this year marked the 150th anniversary of her birth.
The audiovisual about all the winners, a form of quick approach and to the taste of youth, was also present in Spanish, with subtitles in Spanish.
The exhibition had all the information available in Spanish and English.
